Wear those PFDs

A great “Paddlers catching up to power boaters in fatalities” message by Rich Landers on Aug. 3. And then there’s the the front page picture by Jesse Tinsley on Aug. 5 of a seemingly life jacketless paddler on the Spokane River.

As Rich points out, in Spokane County, “All persons, regardless of age shall wear a personal flotation device while on moving water.”
