Public invited to ‘Latino Fest 2017’ on Basque Block on Aug. 26

The public is being invited to the second annual “Latino Fest” sponsored by the Consulate of Mexico and the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which will take place Aug. 26 from 4-10 p.m. on the Basque Block in downtown Boise. The family-friendly event will focus on food, music and culture; Consul of Mexico Celso H. Delgado and Boise Mayor Dave Bieter will speak at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and suitable for all ages; it will include live music, workshops for kids, Latin food trucks, dance contests, and a bachata and meringue dance class, among other activities.
