Riverkeeper fundraiser supports Spokane River stewardship
RIVERS — The Spokane Riverkeeper’s annual fundraiser, formerly ‘Dirty Martinis for Clean Water,’ is revised this year to get the WORD out about river stewardhip.
On Oct.13, the new “Spoken River” event will incorporate art into an evening of river-focused works by local authors Maya Zeller, Shawn Vestal and Jack Nisbet.
The Riverkeeper will offer an update on the year’s river projects in a creative way, with the debut of the reality show “Keeping up with the Keeper.”
Photography by Silver Bow Flyshop’s Michael Visintainer will highlight some of the Riverkeeper’s work.
