ACA can be improved

Why is it surprising that Sen. McCain voted to kill the repeal of ACA? Why does it always take a personal health tragedy to convince politicians to vote for what is morally right? Obamacare cannot be repealed, but can be improved. The ACA would have been much better had it not been for permanent Republican obstructionism.

What is wrong with taking a closer look at the Canadian and European health-care systems, which produce better health care at a much lower cost than our dysfunctional American system? Why not institute Medicare for all? Of course, that would make a lot of CEOs of our overblown health care system superfluous, plus eliminate all the self-serving lobbying along with unethical monetary contributions to politicians and political parties.
