Remove books, too
While we are in the process of removing all things Confederate from public places, we need to remove certain books from the shelves of the Eastern Washington University library. The library contains books, documents and letters written by Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Confederate Vice President Alexander Stephens. People seeking multiple historical perspectives and wanting to attain a deeper understanding of the multi-faceted nature of the Civil War era need to be prevented from doing so.
