Mueller a gift

Dear Santa, thank you for Robert Mueller!

In my long, long life, I’ve only worried about the survival of our Democracy a few times.

The first time was during the Great Depression when we were bankrupt as a nation and so vulnerable.

Next came World War II. The first two years when we were losing the war was frightening.

Then came the Cuban Missile Crisis. Thank God for the judgment and intelligence of John Kennedy!

I haven’t worried seriously until now. Trump has appointed Cabinet secretaries who have oppressed the departments they now head. Plus they are not qualified to head them. These departments allow our government to function as efficiently as possible.

Trump has pushed a tax plan that robs from the middle class and goes to the already rich and corporations.

Trump has played footsies with Russian billionaires who encourage monopolies and cartels. He’s rapidly pushing us into an oligarchy that only benefits the wealthy.

So Robert Mueller, now we really do have a swamp to drain. Drain it and save our democracy.

As an incorruptible, dedicated patriot with the eyes of an eagle, Robert Mueller makes me proud to be an American.
