Democrats hypocritical

Democrats are complaining about a potential $1.4 trillion impact of the tax reform bill on the deficit. In my opinion, this is rich. First of all many economists believe tax reform will be revenue neutral due to increased economic growth. More disgusting is the fact that Democrats under Obama added in the neighborhood of $10 trillion to the national debt with nary a peep, never a complaint, and no efforts the address their exploding debt on their watch.

In addition, even without tax reform current spending projections are expected to drive an additional $10 trillion in debt over the next 10 years. Are Democrats complaining about that debt? No. Are Democrats putting forth proposals to cut spending to address this exploding debt? No. Of course not.

So it is very rich indeed for them to complain and preach the dangers of debt for what is likely to be revenue neutral, pro-growth, tax reform.
