Weak Moore arguments

The Dec. 7 letter by Rob Leach (“Tax cuts and Moore”) is an example of how partisan politics can make rational thought go out the window. Leach blames the criticism of Roy Moore on Democrats basically making up stories because they were losing the election and that “dirty tricks and the Democrat Party go hand in hand.” Both parties have shady pasts. Remember Watergate, Rob?

Fact: Roy Moore tried to date at least one 14-year old girl when he was a public official in his 30’s. Fact: Alabama police have admitted that they were issued directives at the time to keep young girls away from Roy Moore, and vice-versa, when covering Moore’s events. It was well-known that Moore had a penchant for young girls.

I can see adhering to one political party over another, like one football team over another, but do you have to be so brain-dead about it?
