Give tax bill a chance

A letter from a Spokane Valley reader gave a negative report on the tax bill and Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Her letter was based on a CNN report that she identified as ” an in-depth analysis” of the new tax bill. Well, she is wrong for 3 reasons.

That that bill had not passed yet and there are two versions that had to be reconciled (changed to a final agreed version) before it was final.

CMR was one of the original writers of the House version, and I believe that her work will continue to benefit all Americans.

CNN is wrong because the final version of the tax bill will benefit American business both big and small.

I am a certified public accountant with over 50 years experience in all forms of taxes. I think the final bill will save taxes while boosting our economy. Let’s give the new tax bill a chance to work before we reject it.
