Nate wants front plate exemption

Last year, a Senate committee deadlocked on Corvette-driving Sen. Jim Patrick’s proposal to remove Idaho’s requirement for a front license plate on vehicles, killing it on a 4-4 vote. Today, the House Transportation Committee agreed unanimously to introduce a different version of the bill from Rep. Ron Nate, R-Rexburg. Nate’s bill would remove the requirement for a front plate on any vehicle that wasn’t manufactured with a specific spot for one/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise. More here.
