Spokanites have heart
In these times when we don’t hear a lot of encouraging news, I see so much good. Spokane people are always opening their hearts and wallets to people in need. My neighbors are a great example of this and how they help each other.
At this moment they are clearing a berm for a neighbor, and this has been taking place all winter. They do not hesitate if someone needs help. I love this “share the shovel” challenge by Q6 news, but my neighbors Tom, Pam and Matt were doing this long before the challenge. Since I am 81, they definitely watch out for me, clearing my driveway and taking out my garbage to the curb. Look for God’s grace and good and you will find it.
Thanks to our new editor Rob Curley also. You have breathed new life into the paper. Welcome to Spokane, the city with the big heart.
