Wild Card/Tuesday — 2.7.16

Commenter Stitch told me yesterday that s/he’s planning to attend Blogfest 2018. Which is fine IF there is a Blogfest 2018. No one knows what tomorrow holds. And Mrs. O has been placing travel brochures all over the dining room table. I’m fairly sure, God willing, that we’re going to get through 2017 together. But 2018? If you want to attend a Blogfest before I retire, it would be wise to attend this one (1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Fort Ground Grill). The grub (pulled pork, mac n cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, salad, cookie) is provided by The Spokesman-Review via the fine crew of Steve Widmyer’s Grill. The pop’s free, too. But you have to buy your own alcoholic drinks. I’ll give a State of the Blog address about 2 p.m. We’ll reveal The Bard’s poetry book. And toast those no longer with us.
