Amador’s motion fails, gets attaboy

Rep. Paul Amador, who offered a motion to approve the standards as submitted, Facebooks: My wife forwarded me a text this morning from someone she knows that was listening to the Education Committee hearing online: “I heard Paul say perhaps the most reasonable thing an Idaho politician has ever said about trusting content experts to set (education) standards and keeping politics out of the process! Tell him it was awesome!” My motion failed, but it is nice to be appreciated every now and then.
