Here’s a sneak peak at The Bard’s book cover

Gonzaga’s Tod Marshall emailed a photo of the cover of the book of poetry that will debut at Blogfest 2017 Saturday — “The Bard of Sherman Avenue: Poems by Tom Wobker.” It shows the exterior of the building on Sherman Avenue, where Tom worked for years as a partner in Pennaluna & Co. Presumably, he wrote some of his little rhymes that pleased us during or after business hours. In all the years that Tom wrote his poems, no one ever guessed who he was. I received dozens and maybe hundreds of guesses over the years. But none game close. Mayor Steve Widmyer told me at Blogfest 2016 that The Bard’s identity was a best-kept secret in a town without secrets.
