Wild Card/Thursday — 2.9.17

My wife and I each have an “I-told-you-so” to play this Winter Without End, Amen. She has pointed out several times that my theory is all wet — the one that insists that winter ends on Groundhog Day. I’m pointing out that we should have purchased 3 cords of wood instead of two, now that we’re down to our last row and the reserve is buried in the corner of the garden. Oh well, if temps get into the 40s today, as predicted, we can start melting this stuff and get onto spring. Pitchers and catchers begin arriving for spring training next week.
