Tod Marshall says he sent 2 of Tom’s poetry books to me in the interoffice mail. Which means I’ll get my first peak around noon today. Can’t wait to see what Tod and his Gonzaga U associates and friends have done with the book: “The Bard of Sherman Avenue: Poems by Tom Wobker.” Tom and I had a great ride together. He only quibbled when I occasionally changed a poem title to fit my column format. He was such a kind man. I’m delighted that Huckleberries was a forum to get his poetry out to the public.
