Immigration order sensible
The pursuit of happiness is not even a possibility if a person is concerned for their own family’s well-being. How is it even possible we would debate the importance or validity of securing our country over the perceived rights of those who would come here?
For the past several days, the headlines have erupted with scenes of protest over President Trump’s executive order limiting immigration from a small number of countries for a short period of time while we improve our vetting processes. How is it even possible that protests could be considered a valid point of view? The protesters do not seem to know, understand or even care what is actually being done with the executive order.
We must protect the security and safety of our country. We cannot allow our justice system to be overrun by those who would come here to destroy us. We must take every precaution to ensure that we remain a place where the pursuit of happiness is a possibility. I maintain there is absolutely nothing wrong with making sure those who come here are doing so because they love us and our way of life, not to kill us.
