Avoid Idaho’s Obamacare failure
In a weekend column, Opinion Editor Marty Trillhaase of the Lewiston Tribune comments:
If the states are - as U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis put it - the “laboratories of democracy,” it is equally true those laboratories can yield failed experiments.
When they do, the rest of the country is advised to take notice.
Which is the gist of Friday’s front-page Washington Post story about how Idaho’s GOP leadership screwed up health care.
Idahoans don’t need the Washington Post to tell them what they have lived through. But the rest of the country needs to know that during the past four years, Obama Derangement Syndrome has so paralyzed Idaho’s politicians that they’ve been willing to waste tax dollars and sacrifice lives.
