Thirteen years ago today, I launched Huckleberries Online with a click of a button. I had no idea what I was in for. I only knew that it was growing tired of writing editorials for the SR and it was something new. As it turned out, Huckleberries Online crowded out my editorial writing duties and eventually I became the only full-time newspaper blogger in Idaho. As promised in that first post, it has been a wild ride. I’ve navigated a blogosphere chalked full of trolls, keyboard commandos and blind partisans who can see no good in the other side.
