Could be wettest February ever

Sounds like a symphony of rainsticks out there.

For good reason.

Coeur d’Alene could break its record for most precipitation in February.

Since Feb. 1, Coeur d’Alene had received 4.76 inches of precipitation, Press meteorologist Randy Mann said Thursday afternoon. He said that could increase to 5 inches by the time you read this story.

“The all-time record is 6.49 inches set in 1940,” Mann said. “If we get another inch and a half of moisture, we’ll do it”/ Bethany Blitz , Coeur d’Alene Press. More here.
