Snow removal questionable

Since the November election, I have been questioning our values. Thus it is no surprise that as I walk to work, slipping and sliding, I see the lots plowed at businesses and government offices. Yet, the sidewalks remain full of snow and ice. And for our disabled, they either must venture into the streets (crossing the streets of Spokane, even in crosswalks is an adventure with fate), or be stuck at the end of blocks (is that how they got their name)?

Curb cuts are piled high with snow. Perhaps the city is using the same matrix. My West Central neighborhood is the last to be plowed. And since the election, it’s been one big sloppy mess.
