“I saw in the paper (S-R of course) that David Cassidy (has announced he is fighting dementia). This immediately brought back an old memory. In 1970, I had started teaching the 7th grade in Anamoose, North Dakota. We had a bulletin board in the classroom which I was told I needed to use. I told my students they could decorate it however they saw fit, as long as it wasn’t obscene, etc. The next day, I looked up and had never seen that many pictures of David Cassidy in my life! The young ladies all had a crush on him as The Partridge Family was one of the most popular shows on tv at that time. By the way, it you’re looking for Anamoose on the map, it’s between Drake and Martin.”
