Encouraging climate sign

The fact that the GOP is getting comfortable with supporting legislation that addresses climate change problems is very encouraging. After so many years of their party ignoring climate change and other environmental problems in favor of the bottom line, it is welcome to see some take precautions to stem carbon dioxide levels.

A carbon tax is very simple. Produce less carbon and the tax won’t be as high. It gives companies motivation to try to reduce their carbon footprint. It is a good sign to see that more GOP members won’t limit their priorities to what the general Republican hive mind agrees on.
