Improve vital ACA

I wish Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers would stop trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act. As a breast cancer survivor, I know how important good health insurance is. The Affordable Care Act has made my premiums more affordable for me. Today my premium is less than I paid in 2010 for a similar plan. I am so impressed with the ACA that I became a wahealthplanfinder.org broker to help people get signed up.

My doctors love ACA because they do not have to turn patients away who do not have the money to pay or provide treatment at their own expense. And their patients never reach their lifetime maximum.

Insurance companies do not want to see a repeal of ACA. Washington State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler and 14 Washington state health insurers sent a joint letter to Congress on warning of the great risk to the stability of the insurance market if ACA were repealed without a replacement.

I would be delighted to have coffee with the congresswomen during her recess in Spokane and discuss how the ACA benefits my clients and myself. However, there are improvements to be made. Improve, do not repeal, the Affordable Care Act.
