Drenkard portrayal unfair

Molly Drenkard, spokeswoman for Rep Cathy McMorris Rodgers, should not paint all progressive citizenry as violent protesters, so she doesn’t have to speak with them. We do not ever condone acts of violence and property destruction. That is a very convenient way of shutting down any discussion that is detrimental to your governing philosophy.

We as Washington state voters are entitled to voice our political opinions. We need to conduct ourselves accordingly and she needs to let us see our congresswoman. Using the fire marshal to keep protesters from coming into the office? Do you realize none of this was happening last month. What happened? Strong-armed governing won’t work here or anywhere.

We want to meet with the congresswoman with nobody standing in as her proxy. She needs to meet with all of us at once. Hear our side of the issues and respond accordingly.

Tell our congressional leader she represents everyone in her district, not just the people who agree with her. We are waiting for a response and looking forward to seeing her. And the conservatives call us snowflakes?
