Letter: Cover up your tattoos at work

In a letter to the Coeur d’Alene Press, Sasha Fisher of Coeur d’Alene recommends that individuals who get tattoos should get them in places that are easy to cover up, for employment purposes.

When you apply for a job, you apply for the opportunity to be part of an establishment and become a component who assists them in increasing overall profit margin and therefore increasing your chances of reaping the monetary rewards. It’s that simple.

I don’t see the argument in promoting the visual display of tattoos and piercing.

I have tattoos on my back, chest, arm and leg. I do not regret them. I only have 10, but when I got them I made sure they were placed in “cover easy” parts of my body.

You do not get hired to express your “individuality” as some have described, but to execute a service needed. Simple. More here.
