32nd MLK Jr kids’ event set Jan. 12
On Thursday, Jan. 12, the Kootenai County Task Force for Human Rights and two local school districts will convene the 32 nd year of the Martin Luther King Jr Children’s Program at the Lake City Community Church, 6000 N Ramsey Road in Coeur d’Alene. The program for the Coeur d’Alene 5tth graders will be at 9:30 am followed by the Post Falls 5 th graders at 11:30 am. Along with the children’s performances, this year’s guest speaker will be Stu Cabe, the founder of the Ovation Company, Standing Up for What Is Good (established in 2004). His topic for the 5 th graders will be a wonderful children’s story of kindness titled “The Big Elephant Story”/ Christie Wood & Tony Stewart , Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations.
