Wild Card/Weekend — 1.7-8.17

Well, I got through the first week of my new 5X/week column-writing duties — 4 down and many more to go. I was pulling my hair out the first 2 days, trying to get a feel for the new approach and the fodder required to feed the daily print beast. Fortunately, Hucks Nation (blog, Twitter, Facebook) daily provides plenty of fodder for readers of the blog and now the expanded print column. I finally got my head above water Friday afternoon. And I’m beginning to think that this new approach is going to be a barrel of fun. I plan to introduce a slightly revised blogging schedule next week. But you shouldn’t feel much impact. This will be a work in progress for awhile. But the chances are that we’ll all survive. Here’s your Weekend Wild Card …
