Coeur d’Alene Police news release: “On December 29, 2016, Coeur d’Alene Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of W Fallview Dr. for a physical domestic dispute. Once on scene, officers contacted a female with severe trauma to her head and face who had fled the house. Officers located 35 year old Justin S Westbrook inside the house, who appeared to have committed suicide. This appears to have been a violent domestic assault followed by a suicide. Westbrook’s death was determined to be the result of self-inflicted knife wounds. No additional information will be released regarding this incident.”
