Because you asked …
Some of you have asked about the business that Jennifer Locke owned before she because Jim Brannon’s deputy county clerk this month. It was called Zip-n-Go. Jennifer sold a weather-proof outdoor blanket. In a comment on The Grommet, a product launch web site, she explains her product:
“For some time, I searched for the perfect weatherproof outdoor blanket, but the ones I found on the internet or at the stores were either too hard to fold, too small, had separate carrying cases or straps that I knew I would lose, never seemed to fit back in the original bag, or were cheaply made. I was on a mission, so I decided to see if my mom, who is an excellent seamstress, could make what I was looking for. After spending a year finding the best materials and designing prototypes my mother and I came up with the Zip-n-go Blanket™. It was important for us to keep production in America, and that is why our blankets are made in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.”
