Poll: Education is our top priority
- Monday Poll: Idaho Gov Butch Otter had it right when he made education funding the top priority for 2017 in his State of the State speech Monday. It’s the top priority of Hucks Nation, too. 73 of 178 respondents (41.01%) marked education as their top priority for the 2017 Legislature. The second highest priority of Hucks Nation was fixing the Medicaid gap. 43 of 178 respondents (24.16%) said that was their highest priority. Also: 18 (10.11%) want tax cuts. 17 (9.55%) wants the Legislature to fix the recent “loser-pays ruling” by the Idaho Supreme Court. 11 (6.18%) cited transportation. 6 (3.37%) picked Add the Words. And 10 (5.62%) voted “other.”
- Today’s Poll: Will Coeur d’Alene voters pass both a $35.5M bond and a $32M supplemental levy in March?
