Wild card/Tuesday — 1.10.17

I introduced my new Huckleberries schedule to you last night, 8 to 4, with the final hour spent at night writing the Huckleberries column. For some reason, I have a tough time writing the Huckleberries print column at the office. It takes two times as long or more to do so when the scanners are squawking and the emails and phone calls coming in. So you guys lose an hour but the print subscribers gain a daily column. And Mrs O is happy that I’m not killing myself to handle this new assignment. If Mrs O is happy, we’re all happy. And I can keep pursuing this long career in newspapering.
