OLYMPIA — Raising a glass of sparkling wine in the Rotunda to start the Inaugural Ball, Gov. Jay Inslee said the state needs fewer speeches and more dancing in the next four years.

“Party on, Dudes,” he said, possibly channeling Abraham Lincoln, and Ted, from “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.”
