Idaho teens organize women’s march

For two Boise teens, posting comments on Facebook isn’t enough to create real change in a time where change is crucial.

After organizing the “People for Unity” rally on Nov. 12, an event to raise awareness about civil rights that drew about 500 people, Colette Raptosh, 16, and Nora Harren, 18, figured why not do something else to maintain their momentum.

As a result, the duo decided to organize the Women’s March on Idaho in connection with the national march in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 21/ Ruth Brown , Idaho Press-Tribune. More here.

Question: Have you ever been part of a protest march?
