Betty: Enough circuses in Boise already

In a Facebook post today, Betty Hansen Richardson of Boise, former U.S. attorney for Idaho, makes an argument for the last performance of the Ringling Bros Circus to be held in Boise:

“Chatting with a friend, we were approving of Ringling Bros decision to close the circus , even though we had enjoyed the performances as kids. She said, ‘They ought to choose the Idaho State Capitol for their final performance.’ I asked ‘Why?’ ‘Well,’ she said, ‘It has more than enough elephants to replace the ones the circus recently retired.’ She has a point, but the circus now playing at the statehouse is one too many.”
