Poll: Wrong event, place to protest

• Tuesday Poll: Almost two-thirds of Hucks Nation said that demonstrators who shouted down speaker Cathy McMorris Rodgers at a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in Spokane picked the wrong place & wrong event to voice their protest. 179 of 273 (65.57%) respondents said the protestors disrespected the event honoring MLK Jr with their shouts. On the other hand, 41 (15.02%) supported the protest because McMorris Rodgers needs to hear their voice. 31 (11.36%) backed the protest because the conservative voting record of McMorris Rodgers hurts people. 17 (6.23%) supported the protest because organizers shouldn’t have invited McMorris Rodgers to speak. 5 (1.83%) were undecided.
