Rep. Scott says she has no further comment, sticks with her apology statement

Rep. Heather Scott, R-Blanchard, visited with fellow lawmakers, including Rep. Van Burtenshaw, R-Terreton, the newly named chair of the House Ethics Committee, in a friendly exchange before leaving the Capitol this evening. Asked if she had anything to say after the two-hour, closed-door House GOP caucus meeting this afternoon, she deferred to the written statement of apology that she issued just before the meeting convened. “I think that’s probably all I could say,” Scott said.
