Christmas is officially over

Mrs. O has remarked several times that a nice offshoot of the cold and snow and now slush in the Coeur d’Alene area is … many residents can’t get to their Christmas lights, to take them down. Well, employees of the Hagadone Corp. got to the Christmas tree at Hagadone HQ this week — and dismantled it. The viewtiful, annual downtown Christmas display is effectively packed away until Black Friday in November. I’ll miss it. But I’d rather head forward to spring than go back to Christmas and relive the last month of the challenging winter weather that we’ve experienced.
