Pressure candidates to pay

Addressing the Jan. 12 article about the presidential candidates not paying back Spokane for rallies, I feel this is the higher-ups trying to push down the common man once again. Granted, they are very busy people, they should nonetheless make sure to pay their fees as they go. I feel we should put more pressure on them to pay up to show that they should be servants to the public, not vice versa.

  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
