Financial regulation vital

So the Republicans want us to trust the big banks and other financial companies. Every single panic, crash, recession and depression in this country’s history has been caused by big banks and financiers. And we should now trust them? Why?

By their nature, almost all financial institutions are created to separate the hard-working citizens from their hard-earned money to put into the pockets of the already wealthy, while providing some service to society. (Why would anyone create them if not for personal profit.) And given that greed is hard-wired into the human psyche, greed will always drive money matters.

Regulation is needed to curb and limit the worst greed of humans. Without regulation, we all suffer financially. Except the rich.
