AM: Women touts heroic officer

Kim Novak is happy to be alive after her car stopped in the middle of the road, completely dead, Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. The car had caught fire when she discovered she couldn’t get out because all electrical power in the vehicle was gone. Responding police Officer Tim Schwering managed to punch a hole through a window and pull her to safety. Novak talks about the ordeal Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 at her north Spokane home. Story below.
