Boardwalk shut

In my first Walk Along the Shoreline this year, I spotted this sign blocking the west entrance to the Coeur d’Alene Resort Boardwalk. So I snapped a photo of it with my handy-dandy new iPhone 7 — another first. If you look beyond the “Road Closed” sign, you’ll see snow and ice on the boardwalk. So the resort is practicing the old slogan: Caution is the better part of valor.
