I read a few more chapters of “The Street Agent” by Wayne Manis over the weekend. Wayne, of course, was the FBI agent assigned to Coeur d’Alene during the turbulent 1980s when violent Aryan strains (The Order 1 & 2) were running amok and in the 1990s when his agency brought down the gambling/drug/prostitution activities in Shoshone County — and infamous sheriff Frank Crnkovich. Wayne’s recollections offer a trip down memory lane for those of us who were here during those scary times. Stickman told me that he’s checked Wayne’s book out at the library. So you may have to scramble to get one. Here’s your Monday Wild Card …
