Everybody lies

I am responding to David Clark’s letter (June 19, “Lessons as a child”).

He talks about liars. He says we should not accept a president who lies. At first I thought he must be talking about Bill Clinton, who lied under oath and was impeached for it. Or, maybe he was talking about Obama who promised Israel that he would always have their back and turned around and stabbed them in the back. Or how about Obamacare; I don’t have enough room to list those lies and his eight years of lies.

I finally figured he must be talking about Trump. One of the things he was going to do was go after lying Hillary Clinton and lock her up; well, that hasn’t happened. Trump isn’t perfect, none of us are. It is one thing to dislike Trump, but you really should think about what you’re saying. Every one of us has lied.
