Miller great choice for judge

Thirty-five years working in the legal field, I have come to truly appreciate the ability of judges to serve without being judgmental. And, after working directly with J. Scott Miller for 21 years as his paralegal, I can tell you that Scott will serve in this way.

As a candidate for Spokane Superior Court judge, Scott must closely follow the Judicial Code of Conduct. This prevents him from speaking to issues and future cases. As a voter, this can make it difficult to decide who you support. What’s a voter to do? I believe that temperament and experience are the two most important qualifications that can and should be considered when electing a judge. Scott is a fair, impartial and has dedicated his career to the law, not only as a lawyer practicing in all areas, but as a professor as well.

I have seen Scott Miller at his best and his worst. At his best, Scott is a tireless advocate for his clients. At his worst, he can find frustration that sometimes the wheels of justice could use some balancing. As biased as I am, J. Scott Miller will be one of our best that Spokane County has seen on the bench.
