Measure saves dams

Thanks for reporting on the dam-saving measure introduced by Reps. McMorris Rodgers and Newhouse and others. The Snake River dams have been modified over the years to be fish-friendly. Taking them out would eliminate the river as a valuable source of transportation of agriculture products and would clog the highways with truck traffic transporting agriculture products to market while polluting the air we breathe. These two fine Pacific Northwest representatives deserve our praise for protecting agriculture and our way of life throughout Eastern Washington.
