Hump Day Wild Card — 7.12.17

I dropped my car off for an oil change at Dealer Alternative on E. Sherman Avenue this AM. So Mrs. O drove me to work. We hit 5 red lights in a row through downtown CdA. But that isn’t the focus of this brief Wild Card intro. As we were stopped at the light at westbound 2nd St/Sherman Ave, Mrs. O said: “This is my favorite view in Coeur d’Alene.” We were looking out over the grounds of the Coeur d’Alene Resort, the waterfront, Independence Point, and City Park. Spectacular. Spectacular. By the time I reached the SR building a few blocks away, I was glorying in the wonderful place we live rather than grumbling about all the red lights we hit downtown.
