Bear awareness program presented by biologist tonight

WILDLIFE – A free presentation on bears and how to avoid bear attacks will be presented by a state wildlife biologist on Monday at 7 p.m. at Mountain Gear Corporate Headquarters , 6021 E. Mansfield Ave. in Spokane.

Annemarie Prince, of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, plans to cover bear biology, safety and demonstrate the use of bear spray in a program organized by the Spokane Mountaineers.
