Is MSM our best source?

Federal Judge John D. Bates ruled in blocking the Aetna-Humana merger that the claim by Aetna that it was pulling out of certain states where it was providing Obamacare individual insurance plans for business reasons was false. The decision was made partially in response to the federal anti-trust lawsuit blocking the proposed $34 billion merger. Apparently there was no imploding Obamacare market. It appears to have been a business strategy to look more competitive for the merger, according to the court.

Marc Thiessen (“GOP must replace Obamacare now,” July 7) continues with his description of Medicaid as a bait-and-switch covering poor people. Poor people needed health insurance and that was a primary focus of Obamacare. In addition fivethirtyeight.com published that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services, stated the health insurance marketplaces set up by Obamacare were relatively stable in 2016.

The July 8 Spokesman-Review stated that information from Secretary Price on Twitter was misleading with important information left out.
