Poll: Controversial art backed

• Thursday Poll: A supermajority of Hucks Nation backs the display of a controversial piece of art in the Art Spirit Gallery downtown that upsets conservative Catholics. 140 of 228 respondents (61.4%) support the display of “Our Lady of G and Me” in the front window of Art Spirit Gallery on Sherman Avenue. Another 52 (22.81%) supported the display of the statue but said it should be placed somewhere else in the gallery. 33 9f 228 (14.47%) voted that the art piece shouldn’t be displayed at all. 3 (1.32%) were undecided.
